Abstract
The environment is the aggregate of external conditions that influence the life of individual organisms or population that include the biosphere and the relationship between man and his environment (Miller, 1979 and Seneca & Taussig, 1979). The environment is the 'space' where various forms of life and systems depend on. The question that arises is: will the environment continue to provide comfortable space for each period and future periods? Currently, the stability of the environment is disrupted by man-made pollution. The pollution of the environment, whether in the forms of water, air and noise are negative effects in terms of the physical, chemical or biological effects that they pose to human health and activities, as well as to other life forms. The World Development Report 1993 states that: “The environment in which people live has a huge influence on their health”.
