Abstract

SERDANG, 25 Feb – Perisian Sumber Terbuka (OSS) dapat menjimatkan kos pelajar dan universiti kerana menawarkan pakej harga murah dan percuma berbanding perisian proprietary (berlesen). Dekan Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Teknologi Maklumat (FSKTM), Prof. Madya Dr. Abdul Azim Abd Ghani berkata fakulti menanggung kos yang tinggi untuk membuka sebuah makmal komputer kerana harga perisian proprietary mencecah sehingga RM 250 ribu setahun.
