Abstract

SERDANG, 17 Jan – Lebih 1,000 pelajar pelbagai kaum Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) berhimpun di Bukit Ekspo, UPM untuk sama-sama meraikan perayaan kaum India, Hari Ponggal yang bertemakan konsep 1 Malaysia. Pengarah Program Danau Ponggal 2010, Sivasangar Seenivasagam berkata konsep 1 Malaysia dipilih sebagai menyahut seruan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak yang mengharapkan perpaduan sesama masyarakat pelbagai kaum dapat dipelihara.
