Writing a case as a teaching tool.

Abstract
The use of cases has been
recognised as an effective mode of
imparting knowledge. The effectiveness of
this impartation process' will not onily depend
on the lecturer (style, confidence,
knowledge, experiences, and many more)
but also on the quality of the case itself. Of
,course it requires that the case must meet
the necessary qualities that enable it to
impart the knowledge that it meant to
deliver. Academicians, having gone through
the process of writing umpteen times of
lecture notes and seminar papers who
strongly believe that writing a case would be
another of those routine chores then they
are in for some surprises. This paper will
discuss and share some of the common
defaults that academicians (not familiar with
the art of case writing), make in writing a
case. A short case sample will be used for
illustrations.
