Abstract
The present invention discloses antifreeze peptides derived from the fungal protein of leucosporidium antarcticum that have high antifreeze activity and the antifreeze peptides of the present invention decrease the freezing point of an aqueous solution and record a molecular weight of between 2.482 and 3.68 kDa.
